Looking for fun activities to do during your stay in Summer? Boise has beautiful weather in the Summer, averaging about 85-95 degrees, with very little humidity.
FLOAT THE BOISE RIVER
The Boise River is great for floating! The most popular float route is from Barber Park to Ann Morrison Park, about 3 hours of floating. Featuring a handful of light rapids, the river is still calm enough to enjoy on a regular river tube. Make sure to check local guidelines on when the float season is open and operating.
We've teamed up with Boise River Outdoor Opportunities to provide you everything you need to float the river! They provide transportation to and from the river and your raft/tube. Learn more here to schedule.
VISIT BOGUS BASIN IN THE SUMMER
Our local ski hill is open more than just in the Winter! During the Summer Bogus Basin offers mountain biking, chairlift rides, summer tubing, and Idaho's only Mountain Coaster. Purchase discount tickets at the Front Desk during your stay.
There are two Farmer's Markets in Boise to choose from! Shop local produce, handmade gifts, fresh flowers and more!
The Boise Farmer's Market operates on 2100 Shoreline Dr. (about a 5 minute drive from the hotel) and is currently operating as a pre-order "drive-thru".
Capitol City Public Market will open in Downtown on July 17th, located on Idaho St. between 9th and 11th.
STROLL IN THE ROSE GARDENS
Directly next to Zoo Boise are Julia Davis Park's Rose Gardens. This is a perfect place for an afternoon picnic or a cute new Instagram pic.
VISIT ZOO BOISE
Zoo Boise is located just a short walk from our hotel. Visiting the Zoo is perfect in the Spring time before the Summer heat comes in. Purchasing tickets in advance is currently required.
The Treasure Valley has a few Lavendar Festivals when lavendar is in peak season around July. These events will definitely be a drive, but most feature U-Pick lavendar and vendors!
BIKE THE GREENBELT
Borrow some of our complimentary bikes when staying with us and take them for a spin on Boise's Greenbelt. This 50+ mile stretch of pathway winds along the river, through Boise State's campus, and is just a few minutes from our hotel. Ask the Front Desk for our recommended route!
