Reservations

Q: How can I access my reservation online or by phone?

A: Access your reservation online and select ‘My Reservation’ or contact us toll free at 888-961-5000

Q: Do you offer corporate rates or discounts?

A: Yes, The Grove Hotel does offer negotiated rates to qualifying corporate travelers. At the time of your reservation, ask our reservation staff if your company currently has a negotiated rate established, or ask your company’s business travel department for the specific access code. If you are interested in a negotiated rate, our sales department would be happy to discuss pricing and contracting with you. Contact us at sales@grovehotelboise.com

Q: What is the minimum age to check in/stay at the hotel?

A: The minimum age to check in to the hotel is 18. As per Idaho state law, you must be 21 years old to order alcoholic beverages when placing a room service order or at The Bar/Emilio’s Restaurant.

Q: What is your reservation guarantee / cancellation policy?

A: All reservations require a valid credit card in order to guarantee your room, unless otherwise arranged as part of a contracted group block or master billing method. The hotel’s standard cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to your arrival date in order to avoid a penalty. Some reservation types may carry different guarantee, prepayment or cancellation policies and can be viewed in the rate details or on the details of your confirmation letter.

Q: What methods of guarantee do you accept for a reservation?

A: The following credit card types can be used to guarantee your reservation: American Express, Carte Blanche, JCB, Diner’s Club, Discover, MasterCard or VISA.

Q: Will my credit card be charged when I make a reservation?

A: No, your credit card will only be charged if booking a reservation type requiring pre-payment at time of booking. Upon arrival, our front desk staff will obtain a credit card authorization for anticipated charges during your stay, but you may switch to an alternate method at departure to pay for your stay.

Q: Can I pay for my charges using a debit card?

A: Yes, at time of arrival, our front desk staff will obtain an authorization for anticipated charges during your stay. Upon departure, your debit card will be charged for the actual balance of charges, and we will release the “hold” on your debit card to your bank. Please note, it may take up to 7-10 business days for acknowledgement by your bank to show the held funds released on your account.

Q: What if I need to depart earlier than my scheduled departure date?

A: Upon arrival, you can alert our front desk staff of your new departure date, and they will be happy to modify your stay details at that time. Please note, if your plans do change and you need to depart earlier (after confirming at check-in), an early departure fee in the amount of up to 1 night room & tax may apply.

Q: Do you offer connecting and/or adjoining rooms?

A: Yes, The Grove Hotel offers several room combinations that include connecting or adjoining rooms. Most of these options include a King Deluxe room that connects with a Two Queen Deluxe room type. Additionally, some suites connect with other room types. Please contact us in order to add this request to your reservation in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Q: Do you offer cribs, rollaways in the room? Is there a charge?

A: Yes, we have cribs and rollaways available. There is a charge of $25 per night for rollaway rental, however cribs are available at no additional charge. Please contact us to request this option and we will gladly note this on your reservation. Please note, due to some floorplan configurations and for local fire department code we are unable to honor rollaway beds in some rooms.

Q: Do you allow pets?

A: No, The Grove Hotel has a no pet policy, with exceptions made for service animals for guests traveling with disabilities.

Q: Do you have smoking rooms?

A: No, The Grove Hotel is a 100% non-smoking property.

Q: Are there Jacuzzi tubs in the suites?

A: Our King Tower Suites with Jetted Tubs offer deep soaking tubs with jets.

Q: Can I get an early check in, or request a late check out?

A: While we can’t guarantee that your room will be ready prior to our standard check in time of 3:00pm, we will absolutely do our best to accommodate your request. Please contact us and advise of your requested early check in time and we will share your request with our front desk as they prepare for your arrival. Please inquire with our front desk staff regarding late check out availability on the morning of your departure.

Q: Do you honor the government per diem room rate? Do you offer military rates?

A: The Grove Hotel does offer government room rates based on hotel availability. Please ask for the government per diem rate when making your reservation or check for the government rate online for availability at that time.

Q: Do you have an airport shuttle? How do I make arrangements to be picked up at the airport?

A: Yes, we offer a complimentary airport shuttle which is available beginning at 4:15am until the last scheduled flight arriving in to Boise Airport, daily.  There is no need to make advance reservations for shuttle arrangements.  Upon your arrival at Boise Airport proceed to the ‘Hotel shuttle/courtesy van pickup’ island location directly outside of the lower level baggage claim.  Our van is a white shuttle van with The Grove Hotel signage located along the side.  When departing for the airport, the shuttle service departs the hotel beginning at 4:15am and runs automatically every 30 minutes at quarter after and quarter till the hour, until 10:15am.  After 10:15am, please contact guest services to make arrangements for shuttle pickup to Boise Airport.  .

Q: Do you offer specials & packages?

A: Yes, The Grove Hotel offers a variety of specials & package offers, which can be found on our Specials page. Additionally, we recommend that you sign up to receive advance access to limited time offers available throughout the year.

Hotel & Parking

Q: Do you have a frequent stay program or loyalty program?

A: Yes!  As of May 15, 2017, The Grove Hotel is a member of Stash Hotel Rewards®, a collection of nearly 200+ hotels in the United States, Panama and the Caribbean.  Earn points on qualifying room rates, plus other incidental charges during your stay at The Grove Hotel and redeem them toward free stays at any member hotel.  To learn more, or to enroll, click here.  

Q: What parking options are available at the hotel? What is the charge for parking?

A: The Grove Hotel offers 2 parking choices during your stay. Underground self-parking access is available directly off Capitol Boulevard (stay in the far left lane for garage access, proceed through gate and to guest parking/elevators). Valet parking access is available directly off Front Street (immediate right turn into driveway beyond hotel signage, proceed to front door entrance). Self-parking is available at a nightly rate of $12, while valet parking is available at a nightly rate of $18. Parking rates are subject to change.

Q:  What is the garage height clearance?  Will my vehicle fit in the garage?

A:  The garage height clearance for valet and self parking in the hotel's garage is 6'8" maximum.  Most non-lifted full size pickup trucks are typically able to use the garage for in & out privileges, however vehicles exceeding this height may need to park in an adjacent garage lot near the hotel.  Ask our guest services staff upon arrival for more details.  

 

Q: What are the applicable hotel taxes?

A: The total tax rate applied to overnight guestrooms is 13% of each room rate. Please note that applicable taxes are subject to change.

Q: Is there a hotel services or resort fee?

A: No, The Grove Hotel does not have any additional fees outside of your room rate and applicable taxes.

Q: How many floors are in the hotel / what floors are the guest rooms located on?

A: The Grove Hotel is a 16-story tower including hotel, meeting & event facilities, residences, a 5,400 seat arena and commercial retail space. Guest rooms & suites are located between the 6th to 13th floors, and our King Grand Terrace Suites are located on the 4th floor of the hotel.

Q: What's the difference between suites and regular rooms?

A: The Grove Hotel offers a wide variety of rooms and suites. All guest rooms either have views of the downtown Boise skyline or the valley & foothills. To upgrade your stay, we offer suites which feature more square footage, premium views and in some cases added amenities such as jetted tubs. All suites offer pullout queen sofa sleepers in either the parlor or the living room. At 350-400 sq ft - our King Executive Suites each offer a separate enclosed parlor with an additional seating area, wet bar and a jetted tub (note, there are 2 rooms that do not include a jetted tub)

Located on our top floor, our King Tower Suites are between 400 and 500 sq ft, and all offer a separate enclosed living room, wet bar, additional flat panel television and all include a jetted tub. Located on our 4th floor terrace level, the 600 sq ft King Grand Terrace Suites are our largest rooms and offer a private enclosed bedroom, living room, dining room, wet bar, and each have direct sliding glass door terrace access.

Q: How do I check my voicemail?

A: From your in room phone, press the ‘Voicemail’ button or dial ‘0’ for the hotel operator. Manually to be entered into the hotel voicemail network.

Q: How do I access the Wi-Fi?

A: From your laptop or connected device, search your network settings and identify our ‘GroveHotel’ network. Enter your credentials as “grovehotelboise”, which will allow you access to the Wi-Fi network throughout your stay.

Q: Do you have a business center? What are the hours?

A: Yes, The hotel business center is located on the lobby level and offers 4 computers with internet access, printing & faxing capabilities and is available 24 hours per day. Use your room key to access the business center.

Q: Do you offer high speed wired & wireless internet access?

A: Only high speed wireless internet is available at The Grove Hotel. The hotel Wi-Fi is complimentary.

Q: When was the hotel last renovated?

A: The Grove Hotel received a complete renovation of all 250 guest rooms & suites in August 2014.

Dining / Restaurant

Q: What are the hours for Emilio’s, and The Bar?

A: Emilio’s Restaurant is available seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Monday – Saturday breakfast is served from 6 am (Sundays from 7 am). Q: Do you offer 24 hour room service?

A: Room service is available seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner between 6 am to 11 pm Monday – Saturday (Sundays from 7 am to 11 pm) View Room Service Menu

Q: What is the attire for Emilio’s Restaurant?

A: Emilio’s Restaurant is a casual atmosphere, and no specific attire is required.

Q: Do you offer complimentary breakfast?

A: While breakfast is not complimentary, Emilio’s, located in the lobby of The Grove Hotel, offers a wide selection of both continental and hot American breakfast selections during your stay. View Breakfast Menu

Fitness Center

Q: What are the hours of operation for the fitness center & pool? How do I access it?

A: The Grove Fitness Club and pool are open from 5 am to 10 pm Monday – Friday and 8 am to 10 pm Saturday & Sunday. Interior guest access to the fitness center & pool is best accessed by taking the main hotel elevator to the 4th floor, turning left and following signs to the fitness center elevator to the 5th floor.

Q: What type of equipment does the fitness center offer? Is there a charge to use?

A: The Grove Fitness Club is a full service health club offering guests of The Grove Hotel complimentary access to treadmills, elliptical machines, cycling machines, free weights, strength & resistance training, locker & changing rooms, indoor lap pool, Jacuzzi and dry sauna during your stay. Additional fee-based services are offered including personal training sessions, massage therapy, manicure & pedicure services, and more.

Local Area

Q: Where is the convention center in relation to the hotel?

A: The Boise Convention Center (also known as the Boise Centre on the Grove), is located directly behind The Grove Hotel. From the hotel lobby, the most direct route is to exit on Front Street and take an immediate right to the next half-block. The convention center will be on your immediate right.

Q: How far is the hotel from nearby attractions, dining or entertainment?

A: The Grove Hotel is just steps from everything you want to do in the City of Trees. Whether your Boise itinerary includes exploring the city’s best shopping, museums or cultural attractions, or you are looking for accessible outdoor recreation options, The Grove Hotel is at the epicenter of it all. Account / Billing

Q: I recently checked out of the hotel and need a copy of my folio.

A: Contact the main hotel line at (208) 333-8000 and advise the operator that you are in need of a copy of your folio. The operator will transfer you to our managed folio request voicemail to provide your stay details and they will be in touch with you shortly to provide a faxed, email or mailed copy to you as soon as possible. If you need a more immediate copy, please ask to be transferred to the hotel front desk who can assist with processing your request right away.

Housekeeping / Lost & Found

Q: I believe I may have left an item behind during my stay, how can I inquire about it?

A: Our lost & found department keeps a record of missing items that have been left behind in guest rooms or throughout the property. Contact us with more details about the item, where the item was left behind (room number, location in the hotel) as well as any other identifying information and we will be happy to research this for you.
